Schools - Physical Activity Week (18-24th July 2010)
Kids need at least 60 minutes (and up to several hours) of moderate to vigorous physical activity every day.
Smart Moves helps Schools to get students active for 30 minutes a day - leaving 30 minutes of activity to be made up throughout the rest of the day.
How can schools participate?
Assisting students to consider activity during school and outside of school, provides a platform to establish healthy behaviours. The GCPAA has developed an Activity Passport for schools to use during Physical Activity week, and play a part in our Citywide effort to activate the Gold Coast.
