Are you watching too much TV?

Young people spend an average of 2 hours 47 minutes per day watching television. This equals a whopping 19 ½ hours of TV and video/DVD watching per week. This huge amount of time compares to only 37 minutes per day or about 4 hours per week that young people spend doing sport and outdoor activities. Wow! Think how much more time you’d have to be active if you cut down on TV.
